Regular verb of the week (ending in er or ir):
comer (to eat). When we conjugate this verb in the imperfect tense (indicative), we get: yo comía, tú comías, él/ella comía, usted comía, nosotros comíamos, ellos/ellas comían, ustedes comían, vosotros comíais -
Regular verb of the week (ending in ar:
hablar (to talk). When we conjugate this verb in the imperfect tense (indicative), we get: yo hablaba, tú hablabas, él/ella hablaba, usted hablaba, nosotros hablábamos, ellos/ellas hablaban, ustedes hablaban, vosotros hablabais -
Must know irregular verbs:
ser (to be). When we conjugate this verb in the imperfect tense (indicative), we get: yo era, tú eras, él/ella era, usted era, nosotros éramos, ellos/ellas eran, ustedes eran, vosotros erais
ir (to go). When we conjugate this verb in the imperfect tense (indicative), we get: yo iba, tú ibas, él/ella iba, usted iba, nosotros íbamos, ellos/ellas iban, ustedes iban, vosotros ibais
ver (to see). When we conjugate this verb in the imperfect tense (indicative), we get: yo veía, tú veías, él/ella veía, usted veía, nosotros veíamos, ellos/ellas veían, ustedes veían, vosotros veíais
Note that ser, ir and ver are the only three verbs that are irregular in the imperfect tense.
